Check availability →Good to know: Most of these are ticket-only products, so the price is for entry and not for a guided visit. Hydropolis says on its listing that it is adapted for people with disabilities, but ask the booking page for specifics before you plan around it. The cheapest entry in the list, about €4, is a one-review listing and can change, so treat the starting price as a guide.
Good to know
One full day covers the Old Town, the Ostrów Tumski islands and a river cruise. A second day fits the Sky Tower, Hydropolis or the University, or a day trip to Książ Castle. This is our suggestion, not a rule: the centre is compact and many visitors stay a weekend.
No. Poland is in the EU but uses the złoty (PLN). Cards are widely accepted, but bring some złoty for small purchases. The prices on this site are in euros as GetYourGuide showed them when we checked, so the amount on the booking page can differ slightly.
The small bronze dwarf figures stand all over the city centre, and new ones keep appearing. There is no official count: estimates run from several hundred to over a thousand, and Wikipedia puts it at about 1,040 in 2026. Some e-car, golf-cart and walking tours are built around finding them.
It fills the Market Square (Rynek) and Plac Solny during Advent and into the new year. For the 2026 season the city announced 20 November 2026 to 7 January 2027, with free entry. Dates change every year, so check the city’s website for the year you travel; the Christmas boat cruises on our boat page run in the same season.
Książ lies about 70 km and Adršpach about 100 km from Wrocław, which tour operators put at one and two hours by road. Adršpach is across the border in the Czech Republic. The tours in our listing start at about €80 because most are private drives; for the exact route and what is included, read the booking page.
Both are long. Sources give roughly 3 to 3.5 hours by train to Kraków and about 4 hours to Prague each way, so a day trip is mostly travelling. We do not list tours from those cities; the day trips on this site are to Lower Silesia and the Czech rocks.
They answer different questions. The e-car covers 20 to 30 sights in one to two hours and is easy on tired legs, but you do not enter anything. A walking tour, such as the Old Town and Ostrów Tumski walk, takes about 2.5 hours and gives you the stories at street level. Many visitors do one of each.
